You are bidding on a Nikon D50 6.1 Megapixel Digital SLR Camera Body (no lens included) in excellent condition with some wonderful extras. The item includes the original retail box, manuals, and all accessories shown.

The Nikon D50 is a fantastic consumer oriented Nikon SLR cameras that features a built in AF motor, which means you can use any AF lens and not be limited to only AF S lens (such as the D40, D40x, D60, D5000 and new D3000). It is the camera I used to start my photography business, and I babied it, it is in excellent condition.

Some of its best features are the clean and noise free 6.1 Megapixels sensor, instant start up, polycarbonate body over a metal frame (not plastic), 3D color matrix metering II exposure system, 2.5 fps shooting, high resolution 2" LCD, built in flash and external flash sync support up to 1/500, RAW and JPEG file recording, ISO 200 1,600 range, automatic, scene and manual modes and much more. It is extremely well built, yet light, ergonomic and very quick.

All photos are of the actual camera for sale and it is in excellent condition! It was used in a smoke free home and I baby all my camera gear. Works 100% like new. The camera is missing a rubber eye cup that fits over the view finder. I lost that somewhere along the way and the camera works comfortably and fine without it! However, if you like this accessory, it can be had from many camera retailers for under $7.00 (including B&H Photo Video, the part is Nikon DK 20 Rubber Eyecup for D50 & D70s Cameras). This camera takes amazing photos with beautiful Nikon colors. It is a great starter camera and opens the door to using pro lenses on this body, and building up quite a kit.

A note on the included retail box: I have already sold the original kit lens that arrived when I bought this camera new. This is the actual box that the camera arrived in, but this auction does not include a lens.
