Both the Canon Rebel and zoom lens work absolutely perfectly and are in beautiful cosmetic condition. The only sign of use I can see is a small scuff on the bottom of the camera, otherwise this kit is absolutely as good as new (pictures are super sized so you can get a good look.) All functions of the camera and lens work perfectly (LCD screen, exposure, autofocus, image stabilization, Live View, etc.) The viewfinder is bright and clear as well (the XSi viewfinder is significantly larger than previous Rebel models.)

This is a fantastic camera that offers great image quality and great high ISO performance (far better than any compact digital camera.) Canon incrementally updates their Rebel line every year, so the XSi is a good bargain for anyone wanting to take their pictures to the next level. The Rebel XSi starts up instantly and has a huge 50+ shot buffer with 3.5 FPS performance, and features the sensor cleaning system to keep dust off the camera sensor. The Canon 18 55 IS lens is much sharper than the previous non stabilized version (in addition to of course stabilizing the lens for available light shooting.)
