I am selling all my Canon cameras and lenses with no reserve so my loss is your gain. Studio management decided to use only Nikon equipment and I need money to pay for D3X body, flash and 2 lenses. I have barely used this Canon EOS 1D Mark III. It was a back up camera for the Canon 1Ds Mark III. This body rated up to 300,000 activations. It is probably has about 9,000 activations. It is "MADE IN JAPAN" and it is US/Canada version (not a grey market!). As you can see on provided pictures, this camera body is in very good condition. I have used it for studio "kids portrait" photography in a clean, "smoke free" environment. You can catch all important moments with it! This camera never had autofocus problem, but, because Canon offered this service for free, I have sent it for adjustment and on December 19, 2008 Canon Factory Service Center replaced shutter and mirror charge motors under factory warranty! All adjustments and corresponding testing have been completed to Canon Factory standards. Firmware was updated to latest version (please see pictures). Canon described this camera as The Fastest, Most Powerful Digital SLR in the World* (*As of July 2009.) Canon's flagship EOS 1D Mark III is the most advanced EOS Digital SLR ever produced.
